BREATHE

Comic Book Series

Beginning as a webcomic in 2015, BREATHE has skyrocketed in popularity, both online and locally in the Marquette area. A senior in high school at the time, Emma created an entire roster of characters and had her first 24-page issue published in December of 2015.

Recently, Emma has been featured on the ComicsVerse Weekly News podcast, received multiple scholarships for her work on BREATHE, and held a lecture on comic books and graphic novels at the Peter White Public Library, accompanied by the incredible Brad Gischa.

BREATHE features characters that are over five years in the making, using the comic genre to break down what it's like to be a superhero from the perspective of a teenager.

PAINT PONY STUDIOS

Equine Art/Toy Store

Paint Pony Studios began as a simple equine art studio, customizing model horses for clients. This changed drastically in 2016 when mother/daughter team Tess and Emma Jezek took over their local Breyer Model Horse dealership. Tess is the resident bookkeeper, shipping expert, and business manager; Emma is their in-house artist and experienced salesperson.

Using models to spread the love and knowledge of real horses, Paint Pony Studios has expanded to include its own 4H Group, YouTube channel, unique special run horses, and host model horse shows.

Below is a link to their website, where you can find more of Emma's equine art.
